    Abstract
    Tea , worldwide known source of popular non-alcoholic beverage, is severely affected by various biotic and abiotic stresses. Among these, blister blight disease caused by the obligate biotrophic fungus Exobasidium vexan is responsible for significant depletion of its yield and quality.
